I never imagined that I would spend a weekend helping to build houses for a disadvantaged community in Liverpool. But this is exactly what the EGP is all about: a graduate programme that opens doors to incredible experiences, which give you the opportunity to achieve the unexpected. The aim of this weekend was not only to support the Habitat for Humanity project but also to develop the relationship between mentor and mentee. The mentoring scheme is an integral part of the graduate programme and the partnership is an invaluable means of facilitating the professional development of both the mentor and mentee.
